Welcome to Maynooth and the Maynooth Station Lodge in the heart of the Hastings Highlands district of Central Ontario. We’re so glad you’re here!
Jenn settled in the village of Maynooth in 2020 and Rick was raised in Whitney, travelled the world, then moved back in 2021. Our property is across from the unique and historically significant Maynooth Station which served as a hub for the logging industry at the turn of the 19th century. The train tracks are long gone, but the Hastings Heritage Trail B106E serves mountain bikers, snowmobile and ATV riders all year-long.
Rick and Jenn are avid world travellers and have experienced virtually all types of accommodations. Our destinations include Costa Rica, many US states including Colorado, Florida and Texas, also Europe, Thailand, New Zealand, Philippines, Peru … and we’re not done yet! So when it came time to realize our dream of owning a luxury glamping resort, we knew exactly what we needed to offer.
We chose premium geodesic domes to build out phase one of the Lodge because they offer a beautiful combination of outdoor adventure and modern luxury. Amenities include hot running water, air conditioning, force air heating, radiant flooring in the bathroom, a private hot tub on a massive deck, and unique to North America, double-paned glass panoramic windows. These windows offer unparalleled visibility and insulation for hot or cold days and nights.
When we’re not on the Lodge property, you’ll find Jenn running, hiking and swimming at local destinations while Rick is on a mountain bike year-long.
